The Story behind the Store

My name is Kelly Duke and I am the grandmother of 19 and the great grandmother of 4 with another grandchild due right after Christmas. I have been sewing since I was a child and love to make children's clothing.  I specifically love lace, ribbons, ruffles, and bows. The thrill of seeing a child feel good about themselves because they are wearing a nice outfit or dress makes my heart sing.  Material possessions are not the purpose, its the self confidence and pride that it helps to give.  The plan is to take my love of frilly and fun fashion along with my thriftiness to help others provide "boutique" things at an affordable price, then I'm happy.  Material things do not make you beautiful, but I believe if you look good, then you feel good.  I, also, believe your appearance is a good first step in building self-confidence.  In turn, self-confident girls become self-confident women and self-confident women can change the world!
